AdVenture Capitalist

Genre: Clicker
Developer: Hyper Hippo Games
Official site: Steam
AdVenture Capitalist is a little game that looks good with its simple and silly mechanics that only require knowing how to click. Like Cookie Clicker, which practically launched the Clicker genre, this title will ask you to hammer the click of your mouse endlessly in order to raise the funds necessary to purchase multiple upgrades. Upgrades which will in turn serve you to collect money more efficiently, in order to proceed to the purchase of increasingly advanced tools.
In this capitalist iteration of Cookie Clicker, you start out as the owner of a modest homemade lemonade stand, and over time you will have to do everything you can to build a gigantic business empire capable of conquering the world. , see more. Extremely simple, quite funny and above all perfectly addictive, AdVenture Capitalist will keep you busy for long, very long hours.
Alien Swarm

Genre: Action
Developer: Valve
Official Site: Alien Swarm
A remake of a mod developed for Unreal Tournament 2004, Alien Swarm was recovered by Valve who quickly entrusted it to Black Cat games on PC, its internal studio (composed of former modders originally recruited by Valve to work on Portal 2).
Completely free since its launch, the title proposes to embody a soldier (to choose between four classes) in order to go and zigouiller a horde of aliens having invaded a mining colony. Playable alone or with others in cooperation, Alien Swarm offers fairly advanced gameplay, with a rise in character experience and a complete inventory system, which gives pride of place to strategy.
Battlerite

Genre: MOBA
Developer: Stunlock Studios
Official Site: Steam
In the great MOBA jungle, dominated by a few top players (otherwise included in this ranking), Battlerite manages to fare well thanks to a game system that emphasizes action. Here, no lane and another slew of servants to knock out, but nervous clashes between champions, which are almost akin to what you can find in a fighting game. Result of the races, the games on PC are fast and punchy, without losing their strategic aspect.
Passed free some time ago, Battlerite is based on a system of lootboxes certainly, but which only concern the cosmetic part of the game. No particular advantage for big payers therefore, even if like many other free to play, you will have to save your in-game currency to unlock the different heroes. Latest idea from the developers, probably to ride the wave of Fortnite and PUBG, offer a huge map and a Battle Royale mode. MOBA + Battle Royale, the new recipe for success? Response to the exit of the card!
Black squad

Genre: FPS
Developer: NS Studio
Official Site: Steam
Like many other competitive FPS, Black Squad does not intend to revolutionize the formula established by the tenors of the genre. Understand by this that you will have to go and eliminate the opposing team by making the powder and skill speak using all the usual FPS tools. Abundant weapons, grenades and other modes of various games will therefore be there, and all this for not a round.
However free-to-play it is, Black Squad does not pay into pay-to-win, and if micro-transactions are involved, it is only cosmetic elements that do not influence not about the game. So a good thing. The use of Unreal Engine 3 for the graphics part makes it a title quite pleasant to the eye, which deserves that we dwell on it a little.
Brawlhalla

Genre: Fighting
Developer: Blue Mammoth Games
Official site: Brawlhalla
Brawlhalla is a small 2D fighting game that is very much inspired by Nintendo’s Smash Bros license. We find in fact the same game system which consists of ejecting your opponents from the combat area to earn points. It is possible to find more than 25 different characters, each with their own fighting style, who are unlocked using the currency earned in the game.
Multiplayer, Brawlhalla will allow you to face up to 7 opponents online, or three friends locally. A single player mode is also available to hone your skill, while many alternative game modes add variety to the mix. Ideal for a good evening game with friends, Brawlhalla is a must have for lovers of fighting games.
Creativerse

Genre: Minecraft-like
Developer: Playful Corporation
Official Site: Creativerse
Creativerse , like many other titles before him, has very clearly rushed into the breach opened by Minecraft. Open world, resource harvesting, crafting (assembling elements to create new ones), building construction, minimalist graphics entirely in voxels, all the specifications defined by Minecraft are respected, except that Creativerse is completely free.
Formidable alternative, the game of Playful Corporation proves to be extremely complete, and especially very rich thanks to small functionalities very well found (we will note the craft aids which allow to know exactly what resources are necessary to obtain an object). In order not to spoil anything, Creativerse offers sumptuous graphics (as long as we like cubism) which change pleasantly from the competition.
Darwin Project

Genre: Battle Royale
Developer: Scavengers Studio
Official site: Steam
Since the releases of PUBG and Fortnite, the new El Dorado of developers has resided in the Battle Royale, so much so that we see it flourishing on every street corner. Darwin Project is no exception to the rule, even if it has enough character to avoid being another ersatz PUBG. The great strength of Darwin Project is that it is almost more of a survival game than anything else. In each game, ten players are dropped onto the playing field where the cold reigns supreme, and progressively lowers life.
The players will then have to craft fires to warm up, even if it means being seen by other protagonists, or else finding refuge in shelters. Each action performed by a player will also leave clues, which will allow his opponents to see him briefly, creating a tracking system that could not be more interesting. To top it all, each player will have exactly the same armament, a bow and an ax, thus creating balanced confrontations, where the skill wins. The icing on the cake is that each game is “hosted” by a player who can influence the game live, and can be watched live by a whole bunch of players.
Deceit

Genre: FPS – Survival horror
Developer: Baseline
Official Site: Steam
Are you a fan of the Werewolf and similar role-playing games where you have to unravel the true from the false? Deceit is for you. Six players find themselves locked in a level from which they must escape. At the start of the game, two “infected” are randomly designated. Their role: to kill the other four innocent people, without arousing their suspicions. Asylum, labyrinthine forest or arctic base, the environments are particularly agonizing and players call each other in voice chat to bluff or dare to deduce.
As a bonus, the infected must hide to quench their thirst for blood, which will sound a little sound each time, alerting the other players and increasing their hypotheses tenfold. At night, they finally transform themselves and endanger the innocent: it is up to them to dazzle them or to use the impressive arsenal at their disposal to put them out of harm’s way. A very original and devilishly effective principle, with different parts each time.
Destiny 2

Genre: Action-RPG
Developer: Bungie
Official Site: Steam
Developed by Bungie, the famous editor of the Marathon , Myth and especially Halo series , Destiny 2 is a fantastic Space-Opera with a unique atmosphere. As the last city on Earth falls under the blows of the Cabal, the lawless army led by General Dominus Ghaul, you take off and roam the space in search of the three heroes of the previous opus, Zavala, Cayde and Ikora Rey. It’s up to you to re-motivate them and develop a plan to thwart the general’s dark design, while progressing through levels and exploring every corner of hostile planets.
In addition to its unparalleled artistic direction, Destiny 2 is distinguished by its many game modes. You will be able to plunge into an epic single player campaign, but also live the adventure through side quests or even a cooperative multiplayer mode with six protagonists. You will also orchestrate three-player assaults, during which you will infiltrate an area by ridding it of enemy factions and you will be able to organize games with two teams of four players.
Devilishly beautiful and varied, Destiny 2 is now a free pearl – the publisher has left the fold of Activision, the parent company, and has recovered the rights to its title. If you will be promptly invited to invest in DLCs to complete the plot, the free content remains large enough to keep you going for tens of hours. games on PC
Dirty Bomb

Genre: FPS
Developer: Splash Damage
Official Site: Dirty Bomb
Developed by Splash Damages (who had already created the much-underestimated Brink), Dirty Bomb is a competitive FPS which opposes two teams of players (one in attack, the other in defense) in London devastated by a dirty bomb (understand a bomb loaded with radioactive material).
The player can choose his character in three classes of mercenaries with various skills, and necessary to fulfill the different objectives proposed in each match. As in many competitive games on PC played as a team, cooperation and communication will be at the heart of the gameplay.
Doki Doki Literature Club

Genre: Visual Novel
Developer: Team Salavato
Official Site: Steam
Whether or not you are a fan of Visual Novel, feel free to launch Doki Doki Literature Club. Rated extremely positively by almost 95,000 people on Steam, this free title is a real success, and a very special gaming experience. As in most games on PC of this genre, you will play a character and will have to follow a story based essentially on choices of dialogue. Where the title is strong is that it offers an extremely neat and very original writing, which will take you a thousand leagues from what you expected.
Because under the guise of visual novel kawai, taking up the clichés of Japanese school life described in a multitude of manga and animated, this game will make you discover a strange story, and much less innocent than it seems. Doki Doki Literature Club also informs you from the first moments after its launch that it is not to be put in everyone’s hands. A warning not to be taken lightly, far from it.
War Thunder

Genre: Simulation
Developer: Gaijin Entertainment
Official Site: War Thunder
War Thunder is a highly original, massively multiplayer combat game. Indeed, instead of putting ourselves in the shoes of a soldier or a warrior, the developers at Gaijin Entertainment have chosen to propel us into the carcass of military vehicles from the Second World War. It is therefore as a tank, fighter plane and other frigate that it will be possible to go and survey the battlefields of the whole world. A concept to say the least original that works rather well thanks to content in perpetual expansion.
